Nicolette, the Founder of Attivo Multisport, has been participating in triathlon and other endurance events since 2004. She immediately found her passion in competition and has since competed in many triathlons, ranging from Sprint to Ironman, even Xterra. She was also an expert Mountain Biker from 2008-2010 and loved the endurance races. Her personal focus now is working towards qualifying for the 70.3 World Championship.
In 2011 Nicolette put all of her focus into triathlon, but found that just participating in triathlon wasn’t enough. She knew how life changing triathlon was for her, and how much triathlon related to real life. She wanted to help open up the world to others who could experience the same joy and satisfaction that she has experienced. Being a personal trainer and nutrition consultant for many years, with the understanding of the human body and knowing that the personal connection with clients is even more important, made the addition of becoming a triathlon coach come easy.
Nicolette found her approach to coaching wasn’t just about swim, bike and run. The connection that she has with her clients is important to her, and she knows that each client has different needs. She does not have a one size fits all mentality and coaches to the individual to make sure they get exactly what they need. She also found that incorporating proper nutrition, both in every day life, and through the competition season was beyond valuable and important. Nicolette puts a lot of time into each training plan she makes, adding in strength training and body maintenance when needed to ensure every athlete gets through the season injury free. She doesn’t look at what she does as a job. It is a passion.
